Our Wedding

Our story begins in the dimly lit, romantic setting of Still Partners in Sea Cliff in April 2018, where great music, good drinks, and a fateful first date brought us together. Over the next few months, we quickly discovered our shared love for sushi, wine, and most importantly... skiing.&nbsp;We both grew up carving down different mountains.&nbsp;Grant at Stratton in Vermont, and Katherine at Gore Mountain in upstate New York.&nbsp;In February 2020, during Presidents Week, Katherine brought Grant to Gore for the first time.&nbsp;He was convinced the lines would be endless.&nbsp;Instead, the trails were wide open, and so was his heart.&nbsp;He was hooked. Since then, Gore Mountain has become our second home.&nbsp;You can find us there nearly every winter weekend, skiing, laughing, and making memories on every run. Fast forward to March 2025.&nbsp;It was unusually warm, and it was supposed to be our last ski weekend of the season.&nbsp;As we made our way down the mountain with friends, Grant stopped at the top of Katherine’s favorite trail.&nbsp;There, with a professional photographer mysteriously positioned, he got down on one knee. (Not before Katherine made him pause so she could take off her helmet for the pictures, of course!) That moment marked the start of our next great adventure, and we can’t wait to celebrate it with all of you!

Katherine's older sister who can be found traveling the world on summer break and school vacations. An honorary member of the Ridge Rowdies for her summer and winter annual visits.

We became fast friends while working in the Nassau County Legislature.  Shortly after school we moved into an apartment together in Glen Cove and the rest is history!

Katherine's oldest friend from her toddler years when Katherine's babysitter lived across the street from Toni. We were taken on walks before we could talk, but we have been friends ever since elementary school and beyond!

The only person around who loves Glen Cove more than Grant!  A proud founding member of the Ridge Rowdies, Stevens has become part of the family!

Olivia moved down the street from Katherine in 2nd grade and we ended up in the same class in Sea Cliff Elementary School. We became good friends and the rest is history!

Eric proudly holds the title of "Oldest Friend."  Grant and Eric became friends in Mrs. Campbell's second grade class, and have stayed close ever since!

Taylor was  in Katherine's teacher program at Cortland and they became close during many late nights of lesson planning and projects!

The most suave, silliest, and most caring rocket scientist you'll ever meet!  Grant first met Henry at college orientation, and now their annual MLK weekend trips and week at camp bring stories of adventure that will be told for generations.

Katherine was introduced to Erica freshman year and was part of the junior year house that Katherine lived in. We share a love for Adirondack lakes, the mountains, and our dogs!

Katherine was lucky enough to meet Taulie her freshman year and became close when they lived together in their house junior year. Taulie has become Katherine's reason for the numerous stamps on her passport!
